Empowering Artists Across Liberia

Monrovia– Liberia’s Culture Ambassador Julie Endee says empowering artists across the country will ensure a boost in the economy.

Ambassador Endee wants the Government and private citizens to provide the needed support that would ensure that artists benefits from arts and crafts.

Madame Endee made the comments at the Ministry of Information when some local artists were departing the country to represent Liberia at the Dubai Export to show case Liberia’s heritage.

Madame Endee disclosed that this will be the first in Liberia for over fifty artists to represent the country at an international program in Dubai.

Some of the artists thanked the government of Liberia for such opportunity and called on president Weah to provide more opportunity for musicians across the country.
