UP CONFIRMS DATE FOR BOAKAI VICE DISCLOSURE

Monrovia: Opposition Unity Party (UP) has confirmed that Amb. Joseph Boakai is set to reveal his vice-running mate on April 25, or the latest 30, 2023.

It followed mounting public concerns over the delay of Amb. Boakia in selecting a vice presidential candidate with few months to elections.

Making the disclosure, Tuesday, UP National Secretary, Amos Tweh said Amb. Boakai has concluded consultations among those opting to occupy the vice presidential slot on the party ticket and will make it official on April 25th or 30th latest.

The UP Chief Scribe maintained that the selected individual understands the complexity of the Liberian society and shares similar visions, and aspirations of the Unity Party.

However, Tweh failed to state whether the selected individual is an integral member of the LP -or MDR relations.
